this is a poem that I've been writing with the help of my friend Megan.. it's not completely finished yet.. but I wanted to post it and get some feed back on what I have so far...


"That Boy"

There's someone new in my life
Faster than I could believe
At a time when I least expected it
That boy finally came to lift me off my feet
I hoped that he wasn't like the rest
Like the other boys in my past
We exchanged numbers and started to chat
I prayed this wouldn't go by too fast

There's a boy that has me hooked
He's amazing in many ways
His smile, his kiss, the way he cares
All of these can make my grin for days

There's someone I can't stop thinking about
This boy inside my head
Things can't stay the same between us
His disappearance isn't too far ahead
Now he's about to leave
He'll be far away and gone
What should I do now?
Am I supposed to forget about him and move on?





again.. this isn't completely finished.. I want to add a little bit more but this is basically it. let me know what you think please
